"We chose the ocean concept because studies show that oceans can help with stress reduction, improved brain health, better social interactions and enhanced physical activity. We used research to ensure that this mural has the opportunity to benefit the mental health of medical personnel.

In our imagery we included ocean life, fish, plants, shells and other elements that the ocean embodies. The variety of aquatic life adds dimension and color to a very blank space."
